【Abstract】 Five new recorded genera and fifteen new recorded species from Hainan Island are reported. The genera new to Hainan are Cardamine, Semnostachya, Pseucedanum, Veratrum and Lepturus.  All the voucher specimens of the present study are preserved in Herbarium of South China Institute of Botany, Academia.
