【Abstract】 The preparation methods of 2 chloro 5 methylpyridint were reviewed. Those include(1) the preparation from 3 methylpyridine N oxide by different kinds chlorinating reagents such as phosphoryl chloride, N,N diethyl dichlorophosphoramide, dichloromethylene dimethylimmonium chloride, o phthaloyl chloride, trifluoromethyl sulphonyl chloride and phosgene; (2) the preparation from 2 aminopyridine by the reaction with methyl nitrite in hydrogen chloride saturated solution; (3)the preparation from acetenamide by the reaction with phosphoryl chloride in the presence of dimethylformamide; (4) the preparation from 3 methylpyridine by the reaction with chlorine gas in the presence of palladium chloride.更多还原
