莫来石纤维对钛酸铝陶瓷力学性能的影响
Effects of Mullite Fiber on the Mechanical Properties of Aluminium Titanate Ceramics
【摘要】 利用X射线衍射、扫描电镜、热膨胀系数、抗弯强度和气孔率测试等手段,研究了莫来石纤维对钛酸铝陶瓷力学性能的影响。实验结果表明莫来石纤维使钛酸铝陶瓷抗弯强度得到较大增加的同时,复合陶瓷承受的形变也大大提高了,其机理主要是纤维从基体中的拔出。但莫来石纤维过量时,将导致复合陶瓷成型的困难和抗弯强度的降低。而烧结温度超过1500℃时,纤维将粉化而失去其对钛酸铝陶瓷的补强增韧作用。
【Abstract】 The effect of mullite fiber on the mechanical properties of AT ceramics was studied by means of XRD, SEM, thermal expansion coefficient, bending strength and porosity. The experimental results show that the bending strength and flexural strain of AT ceramics were increased by mullite fiber, whose mechanism is that the fiber has pulled out from the ceramics matrix. The quality of processing and the bending strength of the ceramics would be reduced by excess mullite fiber. The effect of the fiber on the bending strength of the ceramics could be lost if sintering temperature was over 1 500 ℃.
