【Abstract】 The internal combustion engine(ICE) is playing a very important role in the development of national economics,and the study of the ICE has attracted much more attention. The application of computer simulation techniques brings people a convenient and efficient way to study the ICE. In this paper,the basic concept of computer simulation and its development are introduced briefly. And the computer simulation techniques used in the study of the ICE are discussed in detail.
