【Abstract】 Determination of inorganic ions in snow by single - column ion chromatography was described. A cation -exchange column and an anion -exchange columm were employed for separation with conductivity detection. K+,Na+ and NH4+ were determined with 4. 0 m mol/L oxalic acid as eluent;Ca2+ and Mg2+ were dentermincd with 0. 50 m mol/L oxalic acid + 0. 25 m mol/L ethylenediamine (pH 4. 00) as cluent; Cl ,NO3 and SO42 were determined with 2. 5 m mol/L phthalic acid+2. 5 m mol/L trishy-droxymethyl, aminomethanc as elucnt.
