【Abstract】 Objective: To clarify if angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE) gene polymorphism attributes to the development of retinopathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: ACE genotypes were determined with PCR method in 136 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and 64 normal controls. Results: The DD genotype frequency and DD allele freaqueney were significantly higher in retinopathy group than in group without retinopathy(P<0.05). Conclusions: ACE gene polymorphism attributes to development of retinopathy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.更多还原
