【Abstract】 It is very difficult for constructing a hyperbolic cooling tower with reinforced concrete. Before construction, a special program was designed to calculate the thickness of tower in order to obtain accurate data. The following construction technique as self - bearing scaffold, typical ganged form and vertical hoisting of tower crane ensures the sucess.
