【Abstract】 EGSB (expansile granular sludge bed) is used in combination with anaerobic biological process and activated sludge aerobic process to treat highly concentrated amylum production wastewater. The water quality of the final effluent can meet the First Grade of the National Effluent Discharge Standard. The engineering example shows that this process has many advantages,such as low investment,less land, and stable treatment efficiency. The sources of energy can be recovered.
