TE-TM模转换型集成声-光波长选择器件的原理及研究概况
Principle and General Research Situation of Integrated Acoustic-Optical Wavelength-Selective Devices by TE-TM Mode Conversion
【摘要】 简要介绍了在LiNbO3基片上,利用导声表面波诱导,实现在槽型波导内TE模与TM模光波的波长选择性耦合机理以及适用于波分复用技术(WDM)的集成声光波长选择器件(可调谐滤波器、波长选择开关、分/插复用器)的研究与开发概况,讨论了一些关键性工艺问题和相应解决办法,指出了目前面临的挑战及其发展趋势。
【Abstract】 In this paper, the principle of wavelength selective coupling between TE mode and TM mode induced by sur-face acoustic waves in optical channel waveguide fabricated in LiNbO 3 is briefly described, and the general situation of R&D of integrated acoustic-optical wavelength-selective devices (e.g. tunable filters ,switches ,and add/drop multiplex-ers) are presented. In addition, some key technique problems arisen in the process of fabrication are discussed, and use-ful methods are brought forward for solving these problems.Finally, challenging for improving these devices are brought out, and their tendency is also inferred.
