【Abstract】 On the basis of analysis of the state of art and necessity of thermal metering in heating system, this paper concentrates mainly on the following topics: primary technical requirement of metering instrumentations common metering methods and relative strategies, key problem to be considered in designing thermal metering device, etc. Furthermore, its development prospect are described.
