【Abstract】 3,5-Dimethylbenzamide was prepared by oxidizing mesitylene with dilute nitric acid, then chloridizing with SO2C12 and reacting with freezing ammonia. The overall yield was 38.3% and the melting point was 131 -133 jas. 3,5-Dimethylbenzamide and its intermediate 3,5-Dimethylbenzoic acid were characterized by IR spectra.更多还原
