【Abstract】 Chinese tea has been a main export in the European market but it sees its decline since the year of 2000. The paper points out that this is not only due to the technological barriers set up by the developed countries but on account of the problems with the tea producers themselves, and that no immediate countermeasures to be made will lead to complete withdraw of the tea from European market.
