【Abstract】 The operation model of tool management system in DNC and the key technologies of developing the system are presented. A distributed tool management system in DNC based on the three layer Client/Server is developed. The tool storage strategy and the algorithm of short term tool plan in workshop are presented. The tool information share between upper layer computer systems and the tool information interactive between upper computer systems and lower layer NC machining equipments in DNC can be carried out by the tool management system.更多还原
