【Abstract】 The article introduces the definition of genetic diversity, analyses its current condition and problems by its theory, and points out that variation scales involved in DNA diversity is the best scale among them. Then, the correlation between genetic diversity and genecology, ecological genetics is demonstrated. Meanwhile it also points out present development of arid area plants in genetic diversity.
