【Abstract】 This paper uses CaCl2 as flocculation-aid in the pretreatment of cotton pulping black liquor with PAC and PAM treatment. The results indicate that the removal rate of CODcr of the black liquor with CODcr 3795 mg/L can reach 82. 02% with CaCl2 ( 160mg/L) pretreatment and increasing 5% dosage of PAM.
