【Abstract】 The Education Test Service in the United State of America is going to put the new TOEFL into practice in 2004. The new TOEFL is quite different from the old one in both the contents and the structures. The main purpose of new TOEFL is to demonstrate the examine’s comprehensive ability to understand English or to use English in the real situation during their stay in North American.
