聚合物光纤折射率分布的显微成像测量方法
Measurement for Refractive Index Distribution of Polymer Optical Fiber Based on Microscopic Image
【摘要】 结合多模聚合物光纤芯径粗(1mm)的特点,考虑传输损耗小的泄漏模式,对泄漏模修正理 论进行简化,并用简化的结果对显微成像法获得的光纤端面出射光强分布进行处理,恢复出其折射率分布,该方法的测量精度在10-3以上。
【Abstract】 Combining with the characteristics of multimode polymer optical fiber with large diameter (1mm) and taking account of the leakage mode with small transmission loss, a correction theory for leakage mode is simplified. The outgoing light intensity distribution from the optical fiber end face obtained with microscopic image is processed by the simplified correction theory and restored into its refractive index distribution. The measuring accuracy of this method is less than 10-3.
