R-D匹配优选小波包零树图像压缩

【摘要】 为使R-D小波包优选算法与零树编码在量化精度上更好地匹配,对R-D小波包优选算法的寻优次序进行修改,使小波包各节点的量化精度差异不超过一位。实验结果表明,R-D匹配优选小波包零树编码可以取得与R-D优选小波包零树编码相当或比后者更好的图像压缩效果,可见R-D匹配优选算法是更适合零树编码的小波包优选算法。

【Abstract】 In order to make R-D wavelet packet optimum seeking algorithm matching with zero tree coding in quantization accuracy, the optimum seeking sequence for R-D wavelet packet optimum seeking algorithm is modified, thus the quantization accuracy difference at various points of the wavelet packet is no more than one bit. The experimental results show that R-D matched optimum wavelet packet and zero tree coding can achieve an image compression effect that is equivalent to or better than that of R-D optimum wavelet packet and zero tree coding. Thus we can see that R-D matched optimum seeking algorithm is more suitable for wavelet packet optimum seeking algorithm with zero tree coding.
