【Abstract】 Based on correlative research achievements abroad,and records of freak wave,the suggestion that the approximate calculation of its force on buildings can be done by means of remodeling the similar nonlinear wave is brought forward in the paper.The writer explains the general steps by remodeling fifth-order Stokes wave and calculating its horizontal force on the upright cylinder.更多还原
