【Abstract】 As a common rhetoric device,metaphors play an important role in human communication.The vehicles of animals,plants and things fall into three types:semantic overlapping,mismatching,and absence.Metaphors with national cultural annotations may be translated literally,literarily and substitutively.The research contributes to cross-cultural communication,translation and foreign language learning and teaching.更多还原
