【Abstract】 A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace silver has been delvelped in HAc-NaAc (pH=4.5)buffer medium.This method is based on the catalytic oxidation of safranine Tby potassium persulfate in the presence of 2,2’-dipyridyl as an activator.The detection limit is 7.0×10-4 mg/L,the relative standard deviation is 3.0%, the linear range of determination is 0.004-0.018 mg/L for Ag.This method has been successfully used to determine the solubility product of silver chloride.更多还原
