【Abstract】 Sodium bisulphate can replace sulfuric acid as catalyst for esterification. Butyl isovalerate can be synthesized by the reaction of isovaleric acid with normal butyl alcohol using sodium bisulphate as catalyst, and the yield can reach 85%～86% under optimal reaction conditions. Sodium bisulphate is not only cheap and easy to get, but also insoluble in the reaction system. Futhermore, it can be recovered and reused by filtration. 更多还原
