【Abstract】 There are different viewpoints of the function of subject-predicate phrases in the circle of linguistics. Based on the comprehensive comment on different important research achievements, the auther holds that the classification of the function of subject-predicate phrases should be dual phrases or binary phrases by studying the key component of subject-predicate phrases, the distribution of the focus, and the proportion of subject, predicate and object in citing and comparing the relative language phenomena between Chinese and English.更多还原
