【Abstract】 Mansfield and Tchekhov are both the most fmous short novel writers in the world., and they both seek ideals from daily life, both revealed the basic meaning of life. But there are also a lots of differences between their styles of writing. The novels writen by Tchekhov are imposing and repressive, while the novels written by Mansfield are cushily.The figures in Tchekhov are gloomy, while the figures in Mansfield’s novels are lively.. Tchekhov payed much attention to the behaviour of the people and put his enphasis on detailed discription. However, Mansfield spend most of his words on enposing the inside world of the people and put his enphasis on imaginary . Tchekhov was a writter and meanwhile a doctor, thus made him rational rather than percepetual , while Mansfield was a writer and also a wife and a daughter,for this reason,she was perceptual rather than rational.更多还原
