【Abstract】 The non uniform current distribution in parallel branch resulting from circular current by proximity effect was analyzed and tested. The each two poles in the six poles of two sets of 3 pole 1 250 A AC contactor are connected in parallel by using of special U shaped connection plates, therefore two sets of 1 250 A AC contactor are expended successfully into a set of 2 000 A 3 pole AC contactor. Improved contacts and quenching system can realize arc quick quenching and reduce flashover. Its control circuit with double electromagnetic system can ensure synchronous closing, silent and energy saving operation of two contactors in parallel. If all the 6 poles of two contactors are connected in parallel, it can be expended into a set of 6 000 A single pole AC contactor.更多还原
