【Abstract】 In this paper, the primary problems existing in seismic tomography are discussed and strategies dealing with those problems are presented. Those problems include noncomplete projection of data, nonuniform coverage of data, coupling between reflector and velocity in reflection tomography, nonlinear error induced by reference model, edge effects, uncertainty of data, different uncertainties of different model parameters.
