库水硼镁石和柱硼镁石形成过程的实验研究
Experiment on formation process of kurnakovite and pinnoite
【摘要】 通常认为库水硼镁石难以形成,柱硼镁石在室温附近难以得到。通过从浓缩盐湖卤水中得到的复盐2MgO·2B2O3·MgCl2·14H2O在H3BO3或MgCl2水溶液中的溶解相转化实验,在室温附近获得了这两种镁硼酸盐。在此实验基础上,推测了青藏高原盐湖中库水硼镁石和柱硼镁石矿物可能的形成过程及反应机制,并指出复盐相转化成盐为青藏高原盐湖所有镁硼酸盐沉积矿物的形成提供了一种实验解释。
【Abstract】 It is usually considered that the kurnakovite (2MgO·3B2O3·15H2O) is difficult to form, and the pinnoite (MgO·B2O3·3H2O) is difficult to obtain at room temperature. In this paper, kurnakovite and pinnoite are obtained at near room temperature by the dissolution and transformation of 2MgO·2B2O3·MgCl2·14H2O in H3BO3 or MgCl2 aqueous solution. On the basis of these experimental results, the formation process and reaction mechanism of the two minerals in saline lakes on the Qinghai Xizang Plateau have been suggested. It is point out that the phase transformation of double salt provides one kind of experimental explanation for the formation of Mg borate minerals in Salt Lakes.
