【Abstract】 The spring supported foundations have been used for Westinghouse turbine-generator units all over the world, but no reference is in China up to now. After application of spring supported foundations to Westinghouse units some problems have been solved, including the accurate dynamic analysis, alignment and regulation to the unit without shutdown of unit, uneven settlement of foundation, etc..
