中心电弧管内受限高压放电的实验研究
Experimetal Studies of Confined High Pressure Discharges in Piccolo Capillary
【摘要】 在电热化学发射中,等离子体发生器的放电过程是电能转化为热能的重要阶段。文中提出了采用中心电弧式的毛细管,并对一种通用的材料——聚乙烯在多种贮能条件下进行了放电实验研究,得出了一些规律性的认识。实验表明,中心电弧等离子体发生器在电弧稳定性以及对现有发射装置的电热化学发射改造等方面都有其独特的优点。
【Abstract】 Discharge of plasma generator in electrothermal launchers is a main process of converting electrical energy to heat energy. We present the piccolo injector capillary. For a standard ablation material polyethylene, we have the discharge experiments in various conditions and give some results. The experiment shows piccolo injector plasma generator have its own particular excellences in arc stability, modifications to existing launchers in order to convert them to ETC guns, etc.
