【Abstract】 Using the suspension cable with the unequal height supports as calculation model,the exact solutions of the unstressed calble length for parabola and catenary curve are derived.At the same time it is explained that at the present the fist-order approximate solutions are applied usually to calculate the unstressed cable length.The results show that the formulas are correct and can be used in the actual engineering.=更多还原
