【Abstract】 This thesis illustrates the negative effect on intercultural communication of the negative pragmatic transfer resulting from insensitivity to cultural differences, one of the major reasons for the failure in intercultural communication. The author suggests that we reduce the interference of the negative pragmatic transfer and communicate effectively by comparing and studying intensively the differences in peoples speech acts,rules of speaking and cultural values in different cultures.更多还原
