【Abstract】 This paper introduces stateful inspection firewalls based on protocol analysis, which can inspect known and unknown network attacks according to RFCs and the real-world implementations of the protocols. They are more secure than the firewalls based on other technologies. Similarly, they have high performance because they are als based on stateful inspection technologies.
