【Abstract】 Under the influence of market mechanisms, daily-communication-area becomes more and more important in metropolitan development. This paper was aimed to divide the daily-communi-cation-area of Shanghai City based on the transportation network by using GIS techniques, with a focus on the analysis of spatial structure, characteristics, contribution factors and dynamic changes of Shanghai’ s daily-communication-area. The contribution of three main transportation projects was also evaluated according to the daily-communication-areas expansion.更多还原
