【Abstract】 Nantong City has formed a spatial pattern of "one city with several towns" ever since modern industrial development. After taking the reform and open policy, the port economy and export-oriented economy have driven the reformulation of industry and promoted the evolution of municipal spatial pattern, and a zonal distributed, group-like, structural pattern has come into existence. On the basis of analyzing previous city development planning, the present article proposes strategies for spatial development of Nantong City and puts forward suggestions for reformulations of a new round general city planning.更多还原
