【Abstract】 Based in the experimental results in the flume, plane shape of circulating flow in dug-into basin is analyzed, especially on the diff erence of plane shape with different angles between main stream line and basin a xis. Major control factors of the range of circulating flow are discussed. A for mula is established to estimate the ratio of length and width of circulating flow.
