【Abstract】 Urbanism is one of the present popular topics for government,consensus,and civilians.But what’s the Urbanism?Different definitions can be reached from different research viewpoint.However,they should always be induced into two categories:one is special or professional category,the other is general or synthetical.This article investigates with the emphasis of the latter point,bringing forwards impetus,essence,approach,purpose and meaning of Urbanism.It is very important for the understanding essence characteristic of Urbanism,and making scientific plan for its successful application.更多还原
