【Abstract】 The grain size of cast magnesium alloys and the morphology and size of their precipitate affect the properties and the potential scope of use of these alloys. The structure of cast magnesium alloys can be refined markedly by adding small amounts of inoculants or alloying elements according to the composition of the alloy concerned. The commonly used inoculating processes and possible structural refinement mechanism of cast magnesium alloys are summarized in this paper.更多还原
