【Abstract】 The wavelet multi-resolution analysis theory is introduced, based on which an algorithm of the wavelet multi-scale image edge extraction is presented and the corresponding calculation program has been written. The wavelet multi-scale edge extraction of the downhole television images is carried out, the edge information is accurately obtained.
