高温固化在VRLA电池中的应用

【摘要】 阐述了铅酸蓄电池生产中高温固化机理和作用,以及固化温度对极板固化质量和电池性能的影响,得出采用高温固化的关键是3BS向4BS转化、4BS铅膏的生成和腐蚀层改善了板栅/PAM界面的连接性能。提出了采用高温固化工艺后,其他相应工艺(包括正极铅膏中加入添加剂,化成方式等)应该进行调整以及高温固化所应该注意的问题和解决方法。采用高温固化工艺,提高极板固化的温度和湿度,将有效地提高VRLA电池的循环寿命。

【Abstract】 The mechanism of high temperature curing process and its effect on the performance of VRLA battery were elaborated in this paper.The effect of curing temperature on the curing quality of plates and the performaces of battery were indepthly discussed.The main function to use this process is to transform 3BS into 4BS.The formation of 4BS and the corrosion layer can improve the connection performance of the interface between grid and PAM(positive active mass).Some other technologies(including additives for positive plate and the formation method)which should be readjusted and noteworthy points in the use of this process were proposed.The results show that the cycle life of VRLA battery could be improved by using the process of high curing temperature and humidity.
