【Abstract】 This paper describes a modeling system developed based on UGII platform, which will be used to reliaze smarter calculations of ship cabin valume and simulation of the ship structure. This paper mainly focuses on Double Bottom & Shell ship as a key kind of ships, and gives a detailed description about the ways to make modeling, the technology about developing UG/OPEN, parameter technology and etc accoding to some pratical examples.
