【Abstract】 The channel-assignment problem (CAP) is important in mobile telephone communication. Since the usable range of the frequency spectrum is limited, the optimal channel-assignment problem has become increasingly important. In this paper, a new channel-assignment algorithm using a Modified combined Genetic Algorithm (MCGA) is proposed. The algorithm not only gets good results for some easy benchmarks of CAP but also has an excellence of high convergence rate and short computing time for some difficult benchmarks.更多还原
