【Abstract】 In the strategic management field, the resource-picking mechanism and the capability-building mechanism explained successfully how firms create the short-term economic rents, but concerning the long-term economic rents, these two rent-creation mechanisms become unavailing. Through analyzing the intrinsic limitation of these two rent-creation mechanisms, we discover that these two rent-creation mechanisms are complementary rather than unattached in the sustained economic rents creation process. Only integrating these two rent-creation mechanisms effectively is the spring of sustained economic rents creation, and the core competence offers the basis for the integration.更多还原
