【Abstract】 The temperature field and erosion shape of blast furnace hearth were simulated by using two dimensional thermal conduction models and Matlab and VC mixed programming.An application software with friendly interfaces and powerful data-handling capacity was developed.The analogue of Blast Furnace Hearth and visibility of isothermal surface were implemented by the software.The erosion shape of hearth was monitored on-line.
