【Abstract】 The relationship between the communication science and the information science is discussed in the paper. The authors point out that the theory of information science plays an important role in the periodical editing work. Thus the paper holds that the theory of information science is the basis for improving the periodical quality. The authors prove their viewpoint from the following aspects of editing work which require the applications of the information science theory: the assessment on the academic level of manuscripts, the collection of the information related to periodical quality, the indexing of key words and the classification of manuscripts.更多还原
