【Abstract】 The foreign invasion of modern China made Beijing and Shanghai in the different roads. As two typical cities of modern China, Beijing and Shanghai played different roles during the Reform of 1898. The political, idealistic characters of 1898s Reform made the two cities to interact with each other continually in politics,thoughts and culture. The interaction between Peking and Shanghai not only influenced the Reform of 1898, but also promoted the early modernization of Peking and Shanghai.更多还原
