【摘要】 比较文学的定义应该体现学科发展的新特点,重视文化批评的意义。但是,如果把"探讨文化差异"当作比较文学区别于其他文学研究的根本标志,那是不妥当的。比较文学的基本要求是研究对象必须跨越民族界限,没有跨民族意义的文学研究,即使是重点探讨文化差异,也不是比较文学。否则,就会把比较文学消解于一般的文化研究之中。所以,文化批评在当前虽然应该强调,却不应成为界定比较文学的依据。有关比较文学定义争论的历史说明,准确地把握学科的特定研究领域和学科的基本特征,是为比较文学下定义的关键。更多还原

【Abstract】 The definition of comparative literature should present the new features of the development of the disciplines and attach an importance to cultural criticism.It is not appropriate,however,that the studies of the cultural differences are mistaken as a basic symbol of distinguishing comparative literature from other literary studies.The basic demand of comparative literature is that its object must be transcending the limitations between nations.There is no such thing as a comparative literature without this transcendence,even if there are some studies focusing on cultural differences.Without transcending,the comparative literature may probably be dissolved into the studies of general literary studies or cultural criticism.Therefore,however,cultural criticism should not be regarded as the reason of the definition of comparative literature despite that they should be placed at an important position.The long-term disputes on the definition of comparative literature shows that to define the study realm and basic feature of the discipline is a key to define comparative literature.更多还原
