【Abstract】 A general approach to the construction of laws of conservation for nonholonomic nonconservative dynamical systems was presented. Definition of integrating factors was first given. Necessary conditions for the existence of conserved quantities were studied in detail, and the conservation theorem and its inverse for Raitzin’s canonical equations of motion of nonholonomic nonconservative dynamical systems were then established.
