毫秒激光器高频电光调Q技术
Research on Millisecond Pulse Nd∶YAG High Frequency Q-switch Technique
【摘要】 对连续激光器和脉冲激光器的理论进行了研究和分析,研制出毫秒量级宽脉冲Nd∶YAG激光器,其输出脉冲宽度为1~6ms,输出波长为1.064μm,能量为2~6J。利用电光效应,实现该激光器高重复频率电光调Q,调Q频率为1~5kHz,在每个宽脉冲中可以获得5~30个窄脉冲,每个窄脉冲宽度为30~50ns。通过调节泵浦电脉冲的脉冲宽度,可以调整宽脉冲Nd∶YAG激光器的输出能量和脉冲宽度。
【Abstract】 In this paper, the mechanism of CWlaser and pulse laser are analyzed. A novel wide pulse laser is provided whose pulse width is 1~6ms, with the wave length of 1.064μm, and the output energy of 2~6J. Using high repetition frequency electrooptical Qswitching at a repetition of 1~5kHz, a series of short pulse can be obtained, whose width is 30~50ns. The pumping power of the wide pulse laser is dependent on IVΔt, where Δt is the width of electricpulse. By modifying Δt, the output power and pulse width can be adjusted.
