10 Gbit/s四波混频型全光波长转换器的实验研究
Experimental Study on 10 Gbit/s All-optical Wavelength Conversion Based on Four-wave Mixing in Semiconductor Optical Amplifier
【摘要】 利用自行研制的半导体光放大器(SOA)对四波混频(FWM)型波长转换器进行了实验研究。在10Gbit / s调制速率下,频率失谐达500GHz时仍现察到理想效果的四波混频型波长转换现象。研究了输出端各波形调制格式的关系,结果验证了基于半导体光放大器四波混频型波长转换中,泵浦光与信号光功率之间的关系对转换结果有直接影响。
【Abstract】 With the help of the semiconductor optical amplifier developed by ourselves, 10 Gbit/s all-optical wavelength conversion based on four-wave mixing is studied. Satisfying wavelength conversion happened when the frequency detuning is higher than 500 GHz. Experimental study on output waveform of the electrical modulation signals is also researched, and the results show that the relationship between pumped light and signal power has direct effect on conversion resultws.
