【Abstract】 Starvation endurance ability of Chilocorus rubidus Hope adult was measured in the situation of lack of prey. The result showed that there was a close relationship between the stage mortality (M) and the survival time (T) of Chilocorus rubidus Hope adult and it could be imitated with a normal distribution equation.While the insect population mortality reached 50%, the starvation endurance threshold (LT50) was the value μ of normal distribution curves. There was linear relationship between LT50 and the developmental time (t):LT50=31385+19324t.Namely the starvation endurance ability of Chilocorus rubidus Hope adult also relied on their development.更多还原
